This is a large hand-made dinner plate, measuring approximately 10 inches.
This ceramic plate is handmade by rolling out a slab of clay and shaped into a shallow plate. The foot is added on at the leather hard stage to the bottom of the plate for easy stacking in the cabinet.
They are all hand-glazed with a featured painted pattern applied over top. I use watercolor underglaze to create a unique floral design. Underneath is painted red with a raw exposed foot.
These plates are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. It is food safe and made without any toxins.
This item is handbuilt, glazed fired and glazed again and fired again. There may be variations from item to item which is expected of our handmade process.
